The barn conversion with a garden provided a peaceful retreat, perfect for enjoying the stunning views of the Northern Fells in the Lake District. the well-equipped kitchen and comfortable bedrooms made for a cozy stay, while the multiple seating areas outside allowed me to relax and take in the beauty of the surrounding countryside. I particularly enjoyed the various activities available nearby, such as hiking around the fells and cycling through the picturesque landscape. the drive up to the property, past an old ruin and through two fields, added to the sense of adventure and seclusion. the boiler/store room for drying out walking clothes was a thoughtful touch that made my stay even more comfortable. The owners, Mark and Fiona, were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable and hassle-free. With amenities like a terrace, patio, and barbecue available, I was able to fully relax and unwind during my time at the Stable Barn. I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable retreat in the Lake District.
